Technology Enabled Care (TEC)

Technology Enabled Care (TEC), also known as assistive technology or telecare, is a range of electronic devices that can help people to live more safely and independently in their own home. These devices range from activity monitors and medication reminders, to personal alarms and much more.

TEC works through the installation of a range of different sensors in a person’s home connected via a control box to a monitoring centre that is there to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week
